It is basically taking care of ourselves. Most of us are good at taking care of others but we need to take care of ourselves too. It benefits our health including emotional health. Examples of self-care are: exercising, eating healthy, set goals/priorities for ourselves, focus on positivity, going to the doctor/dentist, etc. Your body is like a flower- it needs to be watered, cared for, treated with compassion. We thrive better when we take care of ourselves.
